Bracken the Pointer Dog Needs a Forever Home – ADOPTED

Beautiful Bracken was rescued this week by Sandra and our volunteers and really needs a home, a life on the streets would not suit him at all.  Sandra tells us the story…

“We were certainly in the right place at the right time today. We were in Akbel this morning to meet Mesut and catch a dog for neutering, when in the distance we saw a small pointer type dog limp out of the forested area that runs from Akbel to Yesilkoy. Once we had managed to get the dog for neutering into the car (thank you Mesut) we drove up and found the little pointer. It is quite friendly, very calm and sat on my knee very happily. It looks like the leg is broken (maybe an old injury) He is at the vet clinic now, maybe 4 months old. We await more news but this friendly little one needs a home….”

We will update this listing with more news & photos when we have it from the vet, but in the meantime, the hunt of on to find kind, gentle Bracken a home of his own. He probably still has growing to do so will be bigger ten he is currently, and will need some time to recover from his leg injury. Let’s use that time to find him a bright future!
