November Walking Challenge
November Walking Challenge to help the street animals through winter

May we introduce you to Lynne, a keen KAPSA supporter who is spending this November walking around Kalkan, it's villages, and surrounding areas every day, covering 200km in total across the month.

A Message from Lynne

Hello everyone, I’m taking on a special challenge by walking to raise money for KAPSA (Kalkan Association for the Protection of Street Animals), a charity close to my heart that does incredible work for animals in need.

Every step I take will help provide winter food, medical care, and safe shelter for these animals, giving them a chance at a better life. I’d love for you to support me in this cause by sponsoring my walk—every donation, big or small, makes a real impact.

Thank you for considering supporting me and KAPSA. Together, we can make a difference for the animals who need it most!

More Information

During her walk, Lynne will visit İslamlar, Kalkan, Akbel, Ulugöl and any other town/village she decides to visit, somewhere every day. As part of this challenge she has planned a Daily Theme Diary covering a whole range of subjects, the things we all love about Turkey, about Kalkan and about the local people and animals. She will take photos of that days theme and share some with us via our Facebook Group.

How You Can Help

With winter fast approaching, any sponsorship you can offer for Lynne and her walk will be hugely appreciated. To give you an idea of our costs, which have increased dramatically in recent years, a 15kg sack of dog food now costs 540TL, a 15kg sack of cat food is 780TL. Those are just current prices, and may increase over the coming months. Another example is regular health care such as multi vaccinations x 9 are around 6250TL!

You can see how grateful we are to Lynne for doing this with our costs at these levels, and that's before adding in any urgent care, specialist diets when needed, and so on.

If you can help by sponsoring Lynne for this wonderful effort, please complete the form below, to make payment of the amount you wish to sponsor her. Lynne will really appreciate the encouragement and the animals will benefit so much this winter.

Thank you to all our supporters, and of course, huge thanks to Lynne for undertaking this challenge, we are all looking forward to following her progress through November.
