Happy New Year!
It’s here, 2017 is off and running and everyone at KAPSA would like to wish all our friends and followers a very happy and peaceful New Year. Your support over the last 12 months has been invaluable, we have helped many animals stay safe and well – from all of them, we have to say thank you so much, we couldn’t do any of it without you.
It has been very cold at night in Kalkan for several weeks now, with frost on the ground and snow out in the villages, so extra special thanks to our winter feeders, who have been out in all weathers, every day, making sure all the animals have enough food to get them through this period. We could not continue with the winter feeding program without the donations from our supporters and the Advent Appeal was very popular. As always though, we do need the donations to keep coming in, winter is still very much making it’s presence felt so if you can spare a few pounds to help Kalkan dogs and cats that would be fantastic. You can donate now by visiting our Donate Page for the options available or by clicking the Paypal Button
- winter & summer clothes for women, men & children
- accessories, handbags & shoes
- household items
- books & DVD’s
…are always welcome to help us with fund raising. Once again, massive thanks must go to the volunteers who give their time to help run HQ during opening hours. If you have a few hours to spare this year and can help, do get in touch. There is also a donations box at HQ if you are passing and would like to drop your change into it.
Old Towels!! We really need more old towels for the animals. If you have any you can spare, please drop them at HQ or let us know via the Facebook group so we can make arrangements.
Sandra has been busy during the new year celebrations, not only feeding and checking on the animals, but pointing her camera at them too. Here are a few from her trips round town, all of them benefit from the money you donate and generally look fit and well. Massive thanks again and we look forward to seeing you all in Kalkan again this year.
